![]() ![]() So, a question that has perhaps been asked to much (but I still need to know the answer) : How should I get more AR ? I'm not really a barb expert, my 2 1.10 barbs so far were a singer and a frenzyer (and they weren't very effective tbh), so excuse me if the answer should be obvious, oh Great and Almighty Halciet :worship:Īlright, let's see here, methods for getting AR. I'll be PvM 99% of the time, but I also duel for fun with some friends (and sometimes the friendly duels EtF) so high AR is a must (it's not because it's FD that I don't wanna win ). ![]() It's kinda hard to believe I'll be hitting 6-10k AR with dex hardly any higher than base. Here's another complication: I hate being frozen, the "halves frozen duration" from IK isn't enough for me, so I'll be using a raven(which has dex and AR, but a lot less then one more angelic ring i suppose, haven't tested it yet). OK, the set gives something like +200 with 5 items, but that wont get me high enough i suppose. BUT it also says using multiple ways of getting more AR, and so far I only noticed the angelic amu+rings. Now for my question: I recently acquired full IK set, and as said before it will work fine with your (very good) build. These two-handed swords can only be obtained and used during Dungeoneering.First of all, nice guide, very well written  Special two-handed swords Īll of these are members only, with the exception of the Keenblade.ĭungeoneering two-handed swords Since the Evolution of Combat, two-handed swords are held over the shoulder in a similar stance to how they were at the start of RuneScape 2. NPCs that use two-handed swords in this stance often do not have the cape animation. Wielding any two-handed sword used to make the player's cape (if any) billow in the breeze. With this update, the two-handed sword was the only weapon with different animations for every attack option. Because of this, the price had increased, especially in the case of the Rune 2h sword, which some players were selling for as much as 90,000 to 100,000 (although the Grand Exchange price is now about 28,838 coins). About two years before that update they were held in one hand like a normal, right-handed weapon, and the hilts of the two-handed swords looked slightly different. Before the major update, the two-handed swords were wielded in one hand leaning on the player's shoulder. In a game update a while ago, the two-handed sword was given new, realistic, and more fluid animations. As a "surprise" weapon, it was similar to using the Obsidian maul, Granite maul, or Dragon dagger. Before the Evolution of Combat, Free to play rangers would most often bring a two-handed sword to finish fights as they did not have a ranged weapon efficient in finishing blows. It is relatively common in the Wilderness on free-to-play worlds, where it is used to make finishing blows. After the transition to RuneScape 2, its popularity dropped because of the implementation of the aforementioned speed differences, making a two-handed sword only capable of one strike in the time a scimitar could make two. Two-handed swords were the first choice of weapons in RuneScape Classic because there was no difference in speed between weapons, meaning someone could quickly and easily kill a player with this. ![]()
